India Week Hamburg - Inspiration Innovation Networking

30.10.2019 14:00 Uhr – 30.10.2019 21:00 Uhr
Taylor Wessing, Hanseatic Trade Center, Am Sandtorkai 47, 20457 Hamburg

The 2019 edition of the India Week in Hamburg is a perfect opportunity to get inspired by new business ideas, to meet startups and entrepreneurs and to initiate new cooperation and networks between the innovative ecosystems of Hamburg and India.
The importance of India as a trade and investment partner for Hamburg has been growing steadily in recent years. There are more than 500 businesses from Hamburg, which are engaged in foreign trade with India. On the other hand around 50 companies from India are represented in Hamburg. This clearly demonstrates that the economic ties between Hamburg and India are getting closer and stronger.
India is one of the world’s fastest growing economies. This steadily improving environment helped building a vital start-up scene, which is growing rapidly. With more than 35.000 start-ups, India is becoming one of the leading startup ecosystems in the world. Therefore, it is worthwhile to take a closer look into the Indian startup ecosystem: In his workshop, Prof. Peter Kabel from the Asian E-Commerce Alliance will give an interesting overview of the Indian startup scene and discuss the experiences of German investors in this exciting market.
Afterwards, Tech Mahindra, Google, DESY, the Digital Hub Logistics Hamburg, Airbus Bizlab, IvyCap Ventures, Foviatech, Localyze, India Home Health Care, BambooFactory, AECAL, GINSEP and Taylor Wessing will present themselves during the event and give an exclusive insight in their fascinating, innovative and future oriented businesses. This event provides a great opportunity to establish international contacts within a high profile audience and boost innovation to the next level.
