The inspiring RoOT Summer School is your opportunity to gain unique insights and connect with peers and experts in marine science and engineering.

The summer school adresses international young professionals from industry as well as PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and selected Master graduates with a background in any aspect of ocean technology or marine science!

2026, the RoOT Summer School will take place for the fifth time. Over a two-week course, 16 selected participants from academia and industry will have the opportunity to gain detailed insights into various interdisciplinary aspects of ocean technology, with a special focus on activities of the Ocean Technology Campus Rostock.

Advance your career through hands-on ocean technology training - gain firsthand experience, collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, and work with cutting-edge technologies. Join us in Rostock, Germany, from 29 June to 10 July 2026 for the 5th edition of the RoOT Summer School, focusing on Challenges and Chances of Offshore Wind Energy.
