SMM, the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry, will take place in Hamburg from 3 to 6 September 2024. Over 2,000 exhibiting businesses and around 40,000 participants from more than 120 countries are expected to attend. We will also be there in hall B6 at stand 154!

The MCN will be exhibiting at the SMM. You will find our stand at the German Maritime Technologies joint stand in hall B6, stand 154, where our employees will be waiting to inform you about current projects and activities. You can also meet the winners of our MCN Cup sustainability award and find out about their innovative projects at the stand. We look forward to your visit!

3 to 6 September 2024 | Hall B6, stand 154

The ministers and senators of the five northern German states will be attending a reception at the MCN stand on 4 September 2024. There they will learn more about cross-state projects in the maritime industry and find out about the winning projects in the 2023 MCN Cup. Afterwards, the ministers and senators will be available for press photos before taking individual tours of the SMM.

4 September 2024, 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon | Hall B6, stand 154

Together with the German Association for Marine Technology (GMT), we are organising the traditional Blue Hour at SMM on 5 September 2024. Meet representatives from the maritime industry, science, politics and the media. At the Blue Hour, you can make new contacts and network in a relaxed atmosphere. You will also have the opportunity to find out more about the EU project ResC4EU, which aims to make companies more resilient to supply chain disruptions. Feel free to drop by!

5 September 2024, 4 to 6 p.m. | Hall B6, stands 145 and 154,German Maritime Technologies joint stand

One of the major challenges facing the maritime industry is decarbonisation. For this reason, we are organising a panel discussion on 5 September 2024 together with the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster on the topic of "Green Fuels for the Maritime Sector - Integrating Vessel Demands in the Future Fuel Supply Chain". The discussion will focus on existing solutions for alternative fuels, taking into account the entire supply chain. Liberty Pier, Mabanaft, MPC Containerships and Turneo will take part in the panel discussion.

5 September 2024, 2 to 3 p.m. | Hall A4, Green Stage

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), together with the MCN and other cooperation partners, invites you to take part in the MariMatch international B2B contact exchange at SMM. Here you can meet future business and research partners in prepared meetings - directly on the exhibition grounds, but at a distance from the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. At the Maritime Career Market, we present "green" career opportunities in the maritime industry to young people. Our members Cathrin Prikker from Top Glory Marine Service and Simon Burhorst, Maritime Electronic Supply Hub (MESH), will talk about their careers and how they are committed to environmental protection.
