Maritime Cluster Northern Germany: By members for members
Five Northern German countries – one maritime cluster! The Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) promotes and develops cooperations in the Northern German maritime industry. It creates platforms so that stakeholders are able to interact with each other and it also promotes interfaces with other industries.
Timm Elektronik develops and manufactures electronic devices for measurement and control technology for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The company is specialized in grounding control systems for use in hazardous areas of tank farms, refineries and chemical factories. These systems work with tank trucks, railway waggons and ships while loading and unloading flammable liquids. The portfolio of Timm Elektronik also provides solutions for access control of hazardous areas. With the growing importance of renewable energy sources, TIMM has the opportunity to expand our business. That's why we are setting up the new "Renewable Energy" division. The core product of this division will be a digital access control system for wind turbines. Here we build on our existing know-how in the field of access control and data processing technology.
