Maritime Cluster Northern Germany: By members for members
Five Northern German countries – one maritime cluster! The Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) promotes and develops cooperations in the Northern German maritime industry. It creates platforms so that stakeholders are able to interact with each other and it also promotes interfaces with other industries – innovative, technology-oriented and forward-looking.
The Hamburg based offshore service provider OPUS MARINE represents for years a competent focal point to the offshore industry for all sorts of projects. Its present fleet of six own Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) of 20 m - 28 m length as well as further 40 units available from a joint vessel pool makes OPUS MARINE one of the major CTV operators in the European offshore industry with a solid track record. The services offered by OPUS MARINE however are not limited to CTVs but also comprise further types of ships such as Guard or Survey Vessels (OPUS owns two ships for these services) and tugs and pontoons/barges for offshore towages, multicats for challenging offshore construction projects or rental services for offshore accommodation containers.
