Five Northern German countries – one maritime cluster! The Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) promotes and develops cooperations in the Northern German maritime industry. It creates platforms so that stakeholders are able to interact with each other and it also promotes interfaces with other industries – innovative, technology-oriented and forward-looking.
Maritime Competenccenter Elsfleth (Marikom) combines training for seafarers with a modular concept of safety training for ship mecanics, ship officers, port logisticians, other seamanlike staff and junior staff of the maritime business. Marikom offers among safety courses according to international standards (STCW), customized courses in fire fighting, offshore, safety of live at sea, load securing and cranesimulation training.
