Maritime Cluster Northern Germany: the network for the maritime industry
Five Northern German countries – one maritime cluster! The Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) promotes and develops cooperation in the Northern German maritime industry. MCN creates dialogue platforms for stakeholders, so they can interact with each other, and it promotes interfaces with other industries.
Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg – Behörde für Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Innovation (BWVI)
The Ministry of Economy, Transport and Innovation strengthens the Hamburg location. Its objectives are economic growth and technical progress. This promotes promising industries and clusters. In this context the maritime economy, which plays a key role as well in the competitiveness of Germany as a business location, is of particular importance. One measure for strengthening this sector is, for example, the promotion of the Maritime Cluster Norddeutschland e. V.
