We as Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG) can look back on over 150 years of experience as a foundry. MMG has been designing and manufacturing ship propellers with a weight of up to 160 tonnes and a diameter of up to 11.6 metres for all ship classes and sizes for 75 years. With our high-performance propellers, our quality far exceeds the standards of the classification societies. We have also been retrofitting existing ships with more efficient propellers for more than 10 years. Our retrofit propellers therefore offer additional potential for reducing fuel costs and CO2 emissions. More than 500 retrofit propellers delivered have already saved more than 14 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. MMG's production capabilities in the field of additive manufacturing are also growing. We are setting standards in component size in both conventional 3D printing in the plastics sector and in the additive manufacturing of metal. MMG is the global market leader in the design and manufacture of modern, high-performance ship propellers, including the largest on the world's oceans.
