FVTR GmbH’s digital twin workflow for maritime energy systems, maretwin, empowers the maritime industry to move decarbonisation forward with confidence. By combining real operational data with dynamic simulation models, it predicts the impact of retrofits, alternative fuels and operational changes. maretwin emerged from the MCN Cup-winning project SimPleShip.
Thursday | BALTEC Offshore
The MCN Cup-winning concept, ‘New lightweight construction using semi-finished plastic products’, demonstrates how innovative sandwich panels made from flame-retardant plastic can make shipbuilding lighter, more efficient and more sustainable.
